Our Story
Funeral Fund started out as a personal website for our founder Michael and his family. Michael lost his father to cancer in 2011. With medical bills continuing to mount, it left his family with very limited resources for a proper funeral. Asking for help is never easy, so Michael turned to Social Media as a means to connect with family, friends and co-workers who knew his father. After numerous phone calls, text messages, emails, Tweets and Facebook posts, they were able to gather enough money for the funeral that his loving father truly deserved. Michael saw how beneficial a site like Funeral Fund would be for other families in the same situation. Funeralfund.com has become a huge success thanks to his dedicated team and many others who have helped along the way.
